I'm not sure if a person did this or not, but there is now a 2" long scrape right down to the metal on my truck. It's in a spot that would pretty well be impossible to occur naturally, so I'm inclined to think some #### did it.

That implies to me that everyone can tell the difference and half of them prefer Coke.
Giving people both and asking which one they like better does not test whether or not they taste different.
A better method would be to prepare three random samples two of one and one of the other and ask people if they can identify the one that is different.

Not sure I buy your conclusion. In general, if 100 people who think Coke tastes better goes in to do a taste test and 50 of them come out saying they preferred Pepsi, that would argue the point that the subjects couldn't tell the difference and were just guessing. So stating a preference of "A" or "B" doesn't itself prove that people could tell a difference.
However, anyone who can't tell the difference between Coke and Pepsi out of cans has some mighty weak tastebuds, imo.

ok... my latest gear grinder from the 'maize' guy....
my computer was being stupid yesterday and pretty much toasted my email - no biggie, very fixable, but in the mean time i call my one customer and say, 'i've got a bunch of product up here, but i can't access my email, so i can't get the work orders for the product. i need to know which sales guys each order is for and then contact them to find out what we're putting on their product.' almost everything we were able to sort out immediately, but two of the orders were for out of town sales guys, so my customer says, 'don't worry - i'll fire them a quick email to tell them that your email is down and they need to CALL you to let you know what needs to be done to their product.'
well, my email is up and running... and what's in my inbox this morning....

Chris here it is again!

Shearing a bolt that holds down the coil pack.
Hope those are good spark plugs I just put in, because they might be the last this car ever gets

Never changing my coil packs again. After using 8 (no hyperbole) extensions, bends, and sockets just to reach it, and having to remove my tires to get to them, then feeling like the plugs are about as fragile as a Faberge Egg, it's going to the shop next time.
WRGMG today:
- People who make plans, then bail on you, then go MIA.
- Went to the Recycling Depot, who now takes small household items for pay-per-load garbage. On the website, and sign in front says (eg - broken lawn chairs, garden hoses). Take a few chairs that broke in the wind last year, and the attendant says, "Sorry we don't take lawn chairs".
Also, women. Women RGMG.

NBC is broadcasting the game. Best part is no Telus commercials or Healy.

The gear grinders just don't end today, apparently.
Order a jersey ($150), get charged $50 in duty/shipping handling. Sent through USPS, so it's not fedex/UPS charges. It's Canadian Customs. That's highway robbery.

Having an evening meeting tonight of all nights, so set the PVR for the game, avoid human contact as much as possible, only to get home and find your PVR didn't record it. Then frantically flip over to CBC to pray it's still on, just in time to see a replay of the OT winner. Then reading on Twitter how dick-exploding good the game was. On the same day you suffer a 2nd degree burn on your arm in the morning. Today rulz

The effin wind in this city is starting to grind my gears. I don't remember Calgary being this windy 10 years ago. Now it seems like we have a Category 1 hurricane every few days.

Dude, people write songs about the wind here.
I'm pretty sure it was this windy 10 years ago.
