Is anyone going to Ultra in Miami next month? I'm trying to see if any of my buddies are willing to go. The line up looks unreal.
I know I'm late,,,but I was at Ultra week last month. Most amazing time of my life, and nothing short of me winning the lottery is going to ever make me that happy again! I'll be going back next year for sure now that I know that routine. Any electronic music fan should definetely make it a priority before they die to hit up Miami in March!
The Ultra festival itself wasn't anything special. Yeah it was cool with 8 stages and 80,000+ people going nuts, but most poeple there I felt were there to get high and dress all cooky. But man the ASOT 500 tent made that party and it was by far the most epic thing I have ever witnessed in my life.

Not that impressed with the line up, definitely won't be going this year.
Radiohead is on my bucket list, but not at that price tag.

That Friday lineup looks amazing, I wish I knew my exam schedule earlier so I could commit to getting tickets. The Black Keys and the Arctic Monkeys? That alone is enough for me.
haha, you guys are insane. That is one of the best damn festival lineups I have ever seen. WOW. I didn't think last year would be topped but then they go and drop something like this. Holy smokes. I have been giddy all night, it is going to be an amazing weekend.
I mean, Dre + Snoop? How freaking cool is that. Plus Radiohead! And all those electronic artists. Wow. Unreal.

I have never been to a big music festival, but I don't think I can pass this Coachella lineup up. I'll be making my way down there. For people who have been to Coachella before, is it best to camp?
Saturday : Bon Iver, The Shins, Miike Snow, FEIST, St.Vincent, Kasabian, Big Pink, The Vaccines, Dragonette
Sunday : Florence + The Machine, La Roux, NERO, Wild Flag, Real Estate, Wild Beasts
These are all bands worth checking out that would put on interesting shows. Also two bands in the top three of the recently announced "BBC Sound of 2012" will be there : Frank Ocean and Azealia Banks.
Many great acts are being lost in the small print.

I love camping, but it is definitely not for everyone. It is pretty hard to do. You will get very little sleep and by the end of the weekend you will be pretty disgusting, but it's all part of the adventure.
There is a great sense of community that happens when you camp, and I still keep in touch with people I camped next to last year. The parties in the campground are also amazing, especially on the Thursday night before the festival begins.
