Very interesting if the Chavs don't win the final.

An almost total clearout.

Awful tackle by Essien there.

Many getting very excited about M'Vila '99% certain' to go to AFC. OK, will recap: 1) no offer made, as far as I and others know. 2).....M'Vila has had poor last 3 months. 3) number of off-field issues. 4) Too expensive at €22m. 5) Inter are on him too. 6) Wait and see?

Well, that was an interesting game. I dont quite know what Di Matteo was thinking there. Granted, top 4 was a long shot, but the CL final is a week and a half away. He threw this game away, and I imagine hes going to do the same for their next game.

If this game was any indication, Chelsea have a better chance of winning the CL without Terry and Ivanovic.

No one could convince me that Terry and the others who won't play/are suspended for the CL final haven't been drunk every hour since the FA cup final

According to Ray Wilkins, "Chelsea were comfortable but just conceded some sloppy goals."

Hmmm....a comfortable 4-1 loss. Nice one Ray.

I'll have a glass of what he's on.

More knee troubles for Ledley.

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/st...urgery?cc=5901

It's a really a shame his career has been derailed so badly by injuries.

it really hurt England

he and Woodgate if fit would have been up there with the top international pairings of CB's in the past 8 years but neither could ever stay healthy

my guess is he signs on as a player/coach at spurs for a few more years before he fully moves in to coaching

I still have a hard time with Capello taking him to the last World Cup. This guy simply can't play consecutive matches. Regardless of his footballing acumen, that was a complete waste of space. Jamie Carragher too.

Here's hoping Hodgson has a better idea of what the best squad will be. And that's a no to Andy Carroll.

Let's just call a spade a spade, Capello's squad selection for the World Cup was window-licking ######ed. Heskey, Barry, Milner, Green, James, etc, etc.

He was playing the 'Legacy' card like an Ivy League College.
