Hickey wasn't going to sign. He likely would have walked for nothing and we'd have to take compensation as per the CBA.

Three of the last four seasons, Smith has a save % of .914 or better. In that time, the Coyotes have never finished higher than 4th in the division.

The Coyotes are a dog#### franchise. Mike Smith is decent. I'm very curious to see how our defense does with a goalie who can move them the puck.
