The Canadian ALS is getting shafted though. They've only managed to raise $895k because all these celebrities are referring people to the US ALS site.
It's not a dick measuring contest every dollar donated is a step closer to a cure.As a curiosity i wonder how much money is going to research and to help people with ALS?
I am so aware of ALS right now, the only problem is that I still have no clue what it actually is.
the long and the short of it is you lose control of your body. you can't talk, can't talk, can't even swallow. your life expectancy will become very short.
I'm going to challenge people to turn their phones sideways. A sub-challenge will be to embed YouTube videos.
My favourite one so far is PK Subban. I really like how this didn't become a Kony, and how there are a huge number of funds people are donating. I don't know anyone personally affected by ALS, but it's terrible to read about or watch the ones who are.
