Really liking what he has done internationally:

Quote:
International Tournaments:

- He tallied two assists in the U-17 World Cup of Hockey while playing for Russia in 2011-12.

- He played four games in this winter’s WJAC-19 event tallying two assists and seeing significant ice.

- He is again representing Russia in the U-18 World Championships. At the time of writing he is a +7 with four assists in five games.
This is what I was talking about MMF! High risk/high reward type of pick. Very nice.

Hey, I've got no problem with picks like this either.

Should be able to see him quite a bit at the WJC this year, I would imagine.

Hockey sense and skating are considered very good by ISS.

Not the best offensive skills. Plays with an edge (will get in opponents faces)

Ranked #88 by ISS

Here's a link to his interview dated May 30, 2013. He was talking about his training camp experience in US at Steve Sanders camp. Said that he expects to be drafted in NHL but not sure when he could start playing, as he is still under a two-year contract with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. Strange, if true.

Contract is no big deal as he most likely won't be NHL ready for at least 2 years.

Craig Button calls him a warrior. Said Conroy called Igor Krabchuk for background on Nichushkin and was told about Rushan

His twitter is https://twitter.com/raf8795 (in russian). Last entries are 6 hours ago about him missing a girl. Nothing about draft at all. He also says he hates a city of Yaroslavl. Funny how Igor Kravchuk (former Flame btw) commented in Rushan's twitter that Rushan should probably "explain himself" to that girl instead of just feeling sick about her :-) Rushan seems to be seriously lovesick. He also commented that "emptiness in his heart is being filled with training, drinking, sex, music and poems...".

Btw, name Rushan is not russian, it is tatarian, and it doesn't sound like "russian" in russian at all.

Here http://sprashivai.ru/Raf81 you can ask him any question (as long, as it is in russian...). He said, that his favorite player is Kris Letang. I asked him if he plans to come over to Calgary at any point in the future.

He'll get over her as soon as he meets some of those famous Calgary whores!

He's a stay-at-home defenceman. He stays to play in Russia for the rest of his career.

During a radio interview on fan 960 I am certain Craig mentioned Igor is a part-time scout for the Flames. He is not listed as a scout on the Flames webpage.
