I kinda like it.
Reminds me more of an older Senators jersey, but not in a bad way.
It's certainly a departure, which I think is a good thing in a 3rd jersey.
The downside is that it looks like an away jersey, which kind of complicates things (ie opposin teams wearing home colours in your arena, or only wearing 3rds on the road).
But back on my usual soapboxes: flags are awesome, the flaming snot horse is cool too, and the current 3rd jersey is terrible. Ya know, just in case Ken King reads this

I didn't see Blackhawks in this, I saw this:
The colour scheme looks alot like the retro canucks skate one. I do like using the 3rd jersey patch as a logo, but the stripes and colour scheme like that had me doing a double take that someone didn't post a retro Canucks jersey.

Like the old school look but get rid of the flaming horse head. Otherwise it's excellent.

Yeah get rid of the horse, put in a white flaming C.
I like it outside of that though.

Yes, they'll be wearing them again this season.
I believe the league requires teams to keep a new alternate jersey for a minimum of 3 seasons before they can bring out a new one.

^ Well, I guess that means that when we start to contend, we can get rid of those awful alternates.

Yeah, let's not even go there with the victory stripes. We aren't the Oilers you know.

I don't mind the latest concept, I just don't think it is a Flames jersey.

something like that, but they can scrap them and go without a 3rd jersey as well.

Sorry if this is a fata, but I couldn't find it in this thread.
Jordan Roberts, of JCR Graphics did a redesign of the entire NHL based on the Nike Olympic jersey template. There are some really good ones in here, and some that are not so hot.
Here's the Flames:
Here's the Forum thread where he posted all his designs: http://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/...jackets-added/
I completely dig the home and away. Also, I'm kind of shocked that I don't hate that third Flames jersey. I feel like I should hate it, but ... somehow it works as a third for me.
I gotta say, I prefer the Nike straight bottom hem to the Reebok scalloped hem about a billion times more. I virulently hate the 'diaper' look that ends up on so many otherwise great jerseys like the Red Wings, Blackhawks, or Flyers.

Some of those are actually better than I thought they would look. Calgary has one of the worst designs out of anybody though. That third is terrible and the home and aways remind me of the oilers first RBk jerseys

I like most of the ones made by CP'ers over these.
