So much oiler fawning as well. They were outshot 281 to 211 over the series, average of 10 shots per game (no calculators or anything), Cam Talbot is legit and the reason they're anywhere near the conference final.
Interesting fact: Calgary out shot their opponent three times these playoffs. Edmonton? They out shot their opponent twice.

The media trying to spin The Coner saying "let's go" as some kind of example of his profound Messier-esque leadership pedigree is hilarious.

The reality is McDavid was awkwardly trying to get off the bench after one of the biggest choke jobs in sports, saying 'let's go' in a cracked puberty voice so his teammate would get out of the way so he could get off the bench before the tears started.

Interesting fact: playing in their first playoffs in 11 years, the Oilers won 7 playoff games....Calgary Flames haven't won 7 games in the playoffs since 2004... 13 years ago lol

what a year! expecting meaningful games in March and we get to Game 7 of the 2nd round! this truly is just the beginning

So they won more but accomplished less? Yup, sounds like the Oilers to me.

Flames won 5 playoff games in 14/15 season. And won 2 in 2009. So yeah.

Not sure where you get your hockey stats AlbertOiler, but like Edmonton, it's no good.

Enjoy the "miracle season" of a one round win while you can. The Oilers' window is smaller than the Flames.

FYP.

Leave it to an Oilers fan to lord over fans of opposing teams a couple of additional wins in a a playoff series in which they lost.

Sooo....ignoring a half dozen rebuilds, several lottery wins and a decade of some of the worst debacles known in professional sports two rival teams entered the playoffs and both accomplished nothing but the Oilers' nothing is better?

Is that about the gist of your gibberish?

There it is.

An oiler fan logging onto a Flames message board to brag about the oilers big loss.

Haha, what kind of donkey even does that?
