NBC is claiming 20 dead and hundreds injured, but that is obviously unconfirmed and highly speculative.

Dash cam footage from outside the arena showed the explosion lighting up the entire place...

Yikes.

Yikes, it is not like Ariana grande sings politically charged music.

I would imagine the demographics of the concert goers skews towards younger girls.

Hopefully the estimates of the death toll are grossly incorrect

If this is a terror act, you can bet that the May government is going to go apesh$t

I doubt that terror attacks in this case have anything to do with politically charged music, its more along the lines of females being too empowered.

Again, I'm not saying its a terror attack yet.

**Tom Newton Dunn (The Sun): NHS sources are saying the explosion at Manchester Arena was a nail bomb attack. Still unconfirmed.

This is awful for the UK, basically fresh off the Buckingham Palace attack only a few months ago.

The explosion happened outside the arena after the concert. Not much they can do about that.

Very very sad. True that her demographic is pretty much younger girls 12-22 (of which I would be included here, I do love how fun her music is) but it would also be just young people in general at an Ariana Grande concert.

Thoughts are with the victims and their families... terrifying and horrible. I heard Ariana is just absolutely inconsolable right now.

edit: on my twitter feed and lots of people posting pics and saying their friends were at this concert and they haven't heard back. just awful.
