My father in law drove a tank up a beach in Dieppe and he thought that was an improvement on life in Southern Alberta during the depression, I think every generation tends to think it has it bad but only one can really claim that title.

I thank Christ every day that I never really went hungry or had to kill someone growing up

I think its great that people want kids, and i am confused why anyone would use such a derogatory term... to be honest, this is the first time I've ever heard that term...
I'm married, don't have kids, and never will have kids (despite literally everyone I knew telling me "YOU'LL CHANGE YOUR MIND" ten years ago in a very condescending manner). I can 100% backup what PsYcNeT is saying. Most childfree couples are perfectly decent people who just go about their lives in a non-judgmental manner, but there is also a very sizable number of kid-haters who hang out at /r/childfree and constantly refer to children as "womb goblins" or "crotchfruit" or other ridiculously insulting terms. They are to the childfree what euphoric fedora-wearing neckbeard atheists are to other non-believers: a source of embarrassment for the rest of us.
