Biagini with his first win as a starter. 5 solid innings.
Osuna has really found his groove, and the rest of the bullpen is performing too.
Hopefully they can keep this groove going, get some bodies back and roll into the summer back in the wild card hunt.

I was actually a little surprised at how solid Biagini looked as a starter, in the little that I watched.

So what exactly has Kevin Pillar done to go from someone who generally looked lost at the plate, struck out a fair bit, to this guy who is leading the AL in hits, is taking a lot more walks and is hitting around .300?
I'm certainly not complaining because he is basically the perfect lead off hitter.

Who is this Jays catcher? Hell of an arm and accurate!!! What a throw to catch the guy stealing 2nd.
Luke Maile
If only he could hit...

Changed his approach.
Doesn't go up there hacking at everything and praying to make contact. He actually waits for a good pitch to hit, and has quit swinging at pitches out of the strike zone.
Hats off to him, because I'm sure its a lot easier said than done. Hopefully he keeps it going. As you said, the perfect lead off guy.
If Travis ever finds his swing again, then they get JD and Tulo back, the Jays will actually have a pretty potent 1-6 in the order, at least on paper.

Damn this is some beautiful baseball. Sac fly followed up with a double steal to get another run in.

That was a fairly entertaining game. Thought Stroman was pretty darn good. Not sure what the Jays are going to do with Grilli, he hasn't been showing any real signs of improvement.
I like Gibbys call to go with Osuna quickly after Campos plated the first two runners.

Zaun said it well, with the hole they dug themselves they have no choice. Can't let games like this slip away when you are playing catch up.
At least Osuna got it done in like 7 pitches or something.
Pitching staff and bull pen are pretty dialed in. Especially Osuna. World Baseball Classic cost us a few games because they sent us a beat up Osuna to start the season. Such a piss off.
