That is all.

I think Fallon will do great. He is so talented.

Seth Meyers ought to do well with the Late Night gig. On the surface he seems less silly than Fallon and far more erudite which maybe lends itself to the more primetime spot of The Tonight Show more than the Late Night show. He is probably the most like Johnny Carson of any of the guys out there.

On a side note, how about The Boss, at 63 years young, still flexing his substantial guns. He always knew how to pose on stage ha ha. His new album is going to be great. High Hopes is a great single. Tom Morello on guitar. So good.

Pretty excited to see Fallon on the Tonight Show. If I recall, there were quite a few people on here when he started saying he would fail because he's so unfunny.

But he played kind of a goofy guy on Saturday Night live, and I think that kind of made people think he was just an impressions guy who couldn't stop laughing. But he has some pretty creative comedic talent, and it's shown over the years in late night.

I kinda liked Ferguson and Fallon going head to head in the 1130 slot. They are both really good but for completely different reasons.

I don't really think Fallon is naturally funny at all. But he has made the talents that he has work really, really well. Some of his bits are really well done.

Ferguson is naturally one of the funniest guys on television and he plays the "I don't give a ####" role really well. He also has the best monologue in late night. His interviews are completely unrehearsed and unprepared, sometimes it make for awkwardness other times its gold.

Leno is irrelevant and Letterman is closer to Oprah these days.

Its too bad Conan is off network television because with his small budget his show is still not too bad, I think his talent is wasted on TBS.

The ratings will tank (to be clear, I am a fan of Fallon) and Leno will come back in 3 months.

But serious, I think Fallon will do great and be received well. I think Conan's schtick was a little "too crazy" for The Tonight Show.

I find either people love Conan or hate him. There's no middle ground. I actually like Conan's interviews over his bits.

Pretty much my thoughts as well. He's got a sweet charming personality and and a good talent for imitation but as a comedian and host he still leaves a lot to be desired. Whenever I've tuned in most of his bits are either drinking games or comedy based on nostalgia, both just really simple eyes.

I think Seth Meyers is a pretty uninspired choice for Late Night too.

I enjoy Fallon, he is talented (IMO) and really in the early stages of his "hosting career", I think he will get better.

I really like the way Fallon interacts with his guests, I feel like he brings out their real personalities rather than just getting the same robotic reactions from them. Going out and doing a publicity tour and doing interview after interview, it has to be tough to stay fresh and energetic and I think Fallon helps them in that way.

Craig Ferguson is an absolute gem. He rolls out - seemingly unprepared - and dishes out comedy gold. His back-and-forth with Geoff is always well done and I love how he mocks himself and his own show with confidence and grace.

I also like Fallon... I hated him on SNL and as an actor, but he makes a great Late Night host.

I remember a Norm Macdonald interview on Craig's show where Norm kind of hints at the fact that Craig "plays" the exact opposite type of person that he is. Basically saying he's one of the hardest working people in show business, constantly writing and working during the day. Craig, kind of smirked as if to say "yeah, you got me".

Definitely one of my favorite people in show business.

Found it. Watch right from the beginning, it's the first thing he brings up.

I'd pay to hear Norm read the dictionary, he's one of my absolute favorites in terms of comedic delivery and timing.

I PVR every one of the late night shows except Leno, read the descriptions and choose to delete or skim. I think Fallon is talented of course but I just don't like his show, I never laugh.

Conan & Kimmel never fail to entertain. I used to watch Carson every night when I was a kid, big Letterman fan also.

The Roots

It's the last week EVER of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and it's already off to a great start. Check out Jimmy Fallon and Barry Gibb of Bee Gees performing a disco classic with help from The Roots.

Probably a good week to check out Late Night. Timberlake is sure to appear.
