Out of curiosity, who are the moderators at this forum? Most forums I have visited identify moderator under their username but this forum does not seem to do that.

If you go into most forums it'll show the moderator list at the far bottom right. For some reason this subforum only shows Moderator, but the other ones show the full list. Some of the speciality forums have their own moderator but usually they can only move and close threads, post polls, that kind of thing.

Out of curiosity, wouldn't it be of fair benefit to require moderators to allow messages?
I mean, if you can send messages to posters, you should be able to receive them, right? Just in the name of being open really.
I would suspect a reason for not doing it would be to avoid being overwhelmed with random messages I suppose.

I trust you are talking about me. I can't accept pms. We don't know why. I used to be able to but a while back suddenly I couldn't. Photon and myself can't figure it out. Anyways it isn't intentional but rather a bit of a mystery

Oh ok! Yeah it was. I just had a request and since I'd just had a message from you I tried to send it to you and was surprised I couldn't, but I sent it to photon so it's all good
