They haven't worn that one since 2007.

The only jersey that is really out of place is their road jersey. Their home and alternate are both really nice jerseys.

I really don't care how ugly or how pretty they are, it's the fact that they're three totally different designs that bother me. There should be some consistency between home and away. Then if you want to get a little different with an alternative, go ahead.

We really need to trade a winger or two for an offensively competent defensively responsible center (or at least keep Horak on the roster). I never though I'd say this, but we need another Matt Stajan.
They wouldn't have to play defense because they'd always be in the offensive zone. Huds is a responsible player anyway.

Huge game. The Yotes game showed character and determination I didn't think this team had. They're going to need it to pull out a win tonight. I would be absolutely ecstatic with 2 points tonight.

If thats what needs to be done, i am willing to let you do it.

Gives new meaning to " taking one for the team".

I always knew that Baertschi would make a great 4th liner... I hope that doesn't last long tonight

This stupid team.

They give us the most offensive firepower EVER, in the entire history of the team. Granted that's only 13 seasons, but still.... and then this stupid group of stupids can't score to save their stupid lives. Parise, 9 points in the first 5 games. *THREE* points in the last 12. Obviously we can't expect two points a game from him, but I think it's more than fair to expect more than a quarter point per game.

Oh and go ahead and take penalties against us. We're running 8.8% "power" play over the last bunch of games.

It has to suck to be a Wild goalie. No margin for error.
Hehe. Kind of fun to hear someone else being frustrated with a team other than the Flames.

Flames likely to lose simply because having more wins than regulation losses is scary to them.

But honestly, don't really expect them to get their third straight here.

Still out. According to Russo he will probably be out for another 4 games.

What's that? We have an offensive prospect? I know! Let's put him on the 4th line and turn him into a grinder!

Would rather see Baertschi in the AHL than on the fourth line or playing with Comeau.

Last game we had 4 minutes of pp and he didn't even get a sniff. This is not how you develop players.

It's probably poor form to be posting .gifs in the pre-game thread, but we simply have to be seeing this in the post-game thread tonight. This .gif is why I'm on the internet.

Pat Steinberg ‏@Fan960Steinberg
Lines to finish Sunday: Tanguay-Stajan-Iginla; Glencross-Cammalleri-Stempniak; Baertschi-Comeau-Hudler; Cervenka-Begin-Jackman. #Flames

According to this Cervenka is on the fourth line while Sven stays with huds.

I remember when we put li'l Theoren Fleury on the 4th line with Tim Hunter and Jim Peplinski and it turned him into a grinder.

If Baertschi has the talent he'll emerge. Nothing Hartley does to him should be able to change that.
