Roger was my introduction as a kid to the James Bond films. Loved his humorous take on the character. The Spy Who Loved Me was probably my all time favourite of his Bond roles. Rolling up on the beach in the submarine car, rolls down the window and drops the fish out with a completely deadpan look on his face. GOLD.

I always thought he was the suave Bond. Definitely one of my favourites. I loved For Your Eyes Only, mainly due to the car chase scene - very underrated.

The first James Bond actor to pass away. He is my dad's favorite so I grew up watching his movies over and over. I remember being so confused when my dad put on The Living Daylights and couldn't figure out why James Bond was a different guy. RIP.
He was the Bond I remembered the most. So much so that when I went on a kick reading a bunch of the novels, his face was the Bond character I envisioned in my mind.

Live and Let Die was my favourite of his Bond movies. Didn't hurt that Jane Seymour was a stone cold fox in that movie.
Not just in that movie
As for Roger Moore, played a completely different type of Bond, he was cavalier, charming, gadget infatuated with a great sense of style. While a lot of people think that Sean Connery was the true Bond, Roger Moore's Bond was a bit more entertaining.
RIP Sir Moore.

ignoring George lazenby (sp) - I'd have trouble picking a favourite bond actor. I find it interesting how they all play the same character, but are different

For Your Eyes Only and The Spy Who Loved Me are two of my favorite bond movies.
Moore was certainly in some of the worst movies but bad scripts and the hilariously campy direction weren't really his fault. He wasn't my favorite because he played Bond a bit too light and as a fan of the books, he goes quite a bit off character. However the lighter Bond seemed to suit his acting style better even if they went a bit too far in some of his movies.

RIP Roger Moore. Live and Let Die was my dad's favorite Bond movie.
I always wondered how much they had to pay him to be in Spice World?
