After delivering the "bread" the Pens show they give a Faulk
The Pens have been looking to retool their roster in anticipation of a different look next season.
The first deal sees the team bring in a new #1 left winger in Artemi " the bread man Panarin.
The deal sees team leading scorer and top centre and the 22nd overall pick head to San Jose.
The next deal sees Max Pacioretty leave town. The writing was on the wall with the acquisition of Panarin and the imminent signing of Nik Ehlers.
Heading out with Pacioretty is the #43 pick. Coming to town is young dman Justin Faulk and KHL import Jakob Jerebak.
The Pens roster is expected to be young next year and the future of pending UFAs Milan Lucic and Pekka Rinne is expected to come after rerates.
To make room for Faulk the Pens sent Vet defenseman Ron Hainsey to the Sabres for the 59th overall pick.
