I predict Gaudreau will have very few points for Adirondack.

It was hard to guess who might or might not make the team a couple weeks ago!

Bad team, and he's not particularly good.

? He was the first goalie taken in the draft, don't think that would be the case if he wasn't particularly good? Qmjhl is the perfect place to play if you are a goalie, lots of offense and very little defense, makes for great goalies.

Does it? How many of the current goalies in the NHL came from the Q? And how many of them from bad teams?

Not many. He's not horrible. He's just not particularly good. And he should never have been drafted so high.

Junior hockey goalie stats don't mean much.

For sure, just tell me what I can help with!

Thanks for the offer. I ended up finding an SHL site and what team Mattsson was on so I have stats for him now.

(It's here if anyone is curious. He played his first game post injury last night: http://www.shl.se/statistics/players...ll/All/All/dec)

I was trying to navigate through Swedish sites to find out what level he was at, but it appears he's SHL. I was trying to figure out the word for "youth club" so I could see if Djurgarden had a youth team he was on.

If I run into anything in the future though, I know who to ask now.

Completely empty?

The first page won't have stats as Adirondack hasn't played, but if you click the tabs for CHL Prospects or European Prospects, you should see some stats.

Ollas Mattsson has been splitting time between Djurgardens' J20 team and the pro team. He's only played in Champions League games for the big club.

Smith has gotten off to a strong start with Oshawa. 3 goals, 7 points in 6 games.

I think we should be very happy if he can maintain a point per game pace throughout the season.

Average is probably a complement to the Charlottetown Islanders, Mason's team. Their defence can be trapped in their own end for what seems an eternity while the goalie cartwheels around the crease.

Spreadsheet has been updated to 10/12/14. All leagues now have information inputted into them.

GAA and SV% for Gillies has been manually calculated as the Providence website doesn't seem to have those numbers, but does show minutes played and save and shots on goal. So pretty easy to put in a formula to get both of those numbers.

Ever seen him play, once, for a minute?

So by watching him in a QMJHL game and some scrimmages, you know more then pro scouts?

It's called an opinion. Feel free to disagree, but don't put words into my mouth.

All I know is a bunch of pro scouts think he is a solid prospect.

He's going to need time to develop as he is an 18 year old goalie.

He played great for Canada at the U18's, 1.94 GAA and a .930 save percentage.
