I agree. It adds more suspense and makes things more entertaining. It would be great if the NHL did it like this.

It is. I don't know that he requests that for sure, but it's printed on media sheets, said by media members, and said by fans.
Maybe there's another Troy Ward out there? An infamous Troy Ward notorious for serial killing and Troy G. Ward wants to differentiate himself from him.

The team probably didn't deserve the victory but good to see the team pull the W out in the shootout. Nice to see Kolanos get the riding goal and the shootout , hasn't been as good as he was last season and the team needs his goals. Hopefully a confidence booster for both him and the team.
