Default 16/17 STH Seat Relocation

What does everyone think of the new seat relocation process? Starts later this month and new to this year is they finally have a 3D seat viewer tool to let you select your seats. Should be pretty interesting.

3D Seat Viewer

I will still be going there in person; I like the "event" of checking out the other seats. However I know this will be helpful for many people. There's been a number of times where a busy STH has sent a spouse or a friend to go look for them, and that person has no idea what they are looking for.

It's nice to be given a choice.

Those views from the PL first row are out of wack.

My (hopefully old) seats in 205 are pretty close. Even have the obscured scoreboard, which drives me nuts.

It's fantastic. The previous archaic system was terribly annoying - at least with respect to phoning in. I didn't like having to 'ask' for specific sections to see if something is available. I want to know everything that's available and base my decision off that.
I never understood why they had full available viewing for hot house online to come in and select, but not for the relocation system.

Are we going to be able to log in at our appropriate time and see all the available seats? I didn't get that. I only thought we could look online to see what the view would be like from those seats...

If we could see all the available seats, yes, that would be AMAZING!!!

Did they give dates yet? I don't recall seeing anything, just my rep saying sometime this month.

That's probably the best 3D seat viewer I've used. Good work Flames.

Deadline to sign up for relocation is the 10th or 13th IIRC. The dates for the relocation dates should follow shortly after that.

My email says they anticipate the event to take place between May 24-27.

This is how I understand it will happen. There doesn't seem to be any reason it wouldn't be as such, however I can't confirm or anything. It's just my interpretation.

So how does this work. I'm in PL, can we pick any available seats or are we confined to our section?

Just wondering cause there was a long wait list for better seats but we decided we'd rather be going to games vs. waiting for better seats so now I'm not sure if we just skipped ahead everyone that was waiting for better seats or what the deal is.

It depends if you got offered actual seats, or if your PL seats are the "while youre waiting seats".

If you have actual offered seats then you can move anywhere in the Dome as long as you pay the upgraded price. If you took the "while you wait" seats, then you have to stay in PL for whatever the allotted time they had specified.

I don't have anything from the Flames on my date yet. Kinda odd given that the relocation is in a week.

My Club relocation date is tomorrow. I've had club seats for 5 seasons now, so I assume others have earlier dates, maybe today or yesterday?

Club and non-Club have separate dates, and this date is only to move within the club seats. I haven't received a date for non-club, although I'm not if I signed up for that or not anyway.

Non-club relocation dates are May 26-27, 30-31.
