I think we lose this one tonight.
Back to back games
Colorado has our number and is due for a win
Flames back-up goalie in net
Too much trade talk around the team and everyone is uptight
Recipe for a loss, 5-2 Avs.

I always said I didn't mind the Flames losing if we at least put forth a good effort and went down swinging. But in reality, this team is full of heartless, aging players who are playing like impending doom is around the corner (aka trade deadline). To me that's unacceptable for the fans who pay a good chunk of money to watch their team.
Even though we're on home ice tonight, I don't see us squeeking a win out. 4-2 avs.

Considering he has been almost a point a game player since his return, its not hard to see that the bottom was going to fall out regardless.

Useless stat is useless (no offence to you posting it), but that means absolutely nothing. The Avs were a bad team without O'Reily.

Anyone know what the record for longest home game winning streak while losing on the road is? We could be in the running

I don't know if I agree it means absolutely nothing - The general media consensus was hammering Feaster's clumsy offer sheet as improving the team closest to the Flames in the standings. I agree that the Avs are a bad team, but based on Colorado games I've watched with O'Reilly in the lineup, I'm definitely pleased Sherman decided to match the Flames offer sheet.
That said, Go Flames Go!

The home team has won the last 17 games the Flames have been involved in.

Is there a record for most consecutive home wins to most consecutive road losses at the same time?
