Anyone have experience with planting/growing bamboo here in town? Is there a greenhouse that carries it?

I think you can find it pretty much anywhere, Golden Acres has some...

I believe thats the indoor stuff. Theres a fairly cold hardy clumping variety, Fargesia, thats ive seen mentioned for outdoor, but seems to be an ordering seeds online only thing.

Can it survive Calgary winters? If so, I'd be interested too!

It looks like you lose the stems every winter and would be risky with rhizome underground. Hardy ones are zone 6 stems and at best a zone 4 rhizome. Risky, but with covering in the winter could be doable. Really needs a Vancouver climate.

Aren't certain types of bamboo considered an invasive species in North America?

Not that it might be an issue in Calgary...

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a company to power rake and aerate a lawn? I'd prefer someone more reputable than those walking around neighbourhoods and taking cash, but maybe they are just as good?

We hand rake every year, but figured it has been long enough to do the full meal deal this spring.

We’ve been using Seedy Lawns for a few years. They do a great job and have been very reliable. I communicate with completely online and by text.

Anyone have a recommendation as to what I should plant in these things I have hanging off my shed? They get a lot of sun.

Strawberries work great in pots. I’ve had 10 or so in pots for a few years.

Ya, that's why I keep my strawberries locked down in a hypermax. Squirrels wait until they are a day before optimum ripeness before they snatch them.
