I wouldn't fire the guy though. plusses outweigh the minuses.

No one knows what the cost was on Bishop though. Were the Flames giving up a top prospect, high draft pick plus more? Dougie's name was being tossed around at the draft as well. It is not like Bishop cost a 2nd and conditional 3rd and Treliving chose Elliott. The tandem he put together got the team to the playoffs. Bishop can now be had for cap space.
