Not surprising...You're cheering on a team that politically incorrectly named themselves after an ethnicity.
Everyone must seem sensitive to you

I have to admit I don't know a thing about Cleveland Indians at all. I don't really care as long as the Blue Jays wins.

Jays in 5 here.

Watching the playoffs no team scares the Jays. Cleveland should put up a fight but don't have the depth with the injuries. The national league is just awful.

Usually the AL team struggles in the NL park because they lose a good hitter. But with Encarncion comfortable at first and losing Saunders as the DH is not a big blow.

This!^^^

Edwin has played a very solid first base most of the year.

Smoak cannot get a sniff these days.

Don't worry they'll be safe. Jays have such a rabid fanbase they get a little worked up sometimes.

And after the Jays knock Cleveland out of the playoffs your team can go back to playing to a half-filled stadium where they are completely irrelevant. What were you guys? 3rd last in attendance..for a first place team? Ouch!

I know, was only joking. But I did see they have implemented a cups only policy at Rogers Centre now. Cleveland is no stranger to that sort of thing, considering we've had 10 cent beer night in baseball and bottlegate in football.

No good reply for the attendance smack. Its sad my city will only support King James and the terrible football team. Its great how Toronto gets behind their team, and the Jays did help the Tribe get home field against the Sox. So, thanks for that.

I'm assuming the Blue Jays will bring in Goins and his 0.00 Era against Cleveland this season?

I'm just talking smack too. To be honest I'm pretty neutral towards the Indians.

Hope you keep posting in here because it's a lot more fun reading different teams fan's opinions.

Cleveland - Toronto in basketball.
Cleveland - Toronto in baseball.

Who knew these two cities would be drawn to each other? Can we get an Argos - Browns matchup?

Since the pitching match-ups haven't been set as of yet, FiveThirtyEight has their odds just based on the rest of the team.

Cleveland gets the edge 52% to 48% when they are at home
Blue Jays get the edge 57% to 43% when they are at home

Seems like the pitching match-ups will play a very big roll as expected, and maybe even moreso on the road than at home.

Good. I like that decision, keep rolling with the same rotation.

Well, in this case they are skipping Stroman's start so technically not the same rotation.

With 4 days off though I'm fine with it. Estrada got this team off to a stellar start in the ALDS so you really can't criticize this decision at all.

6 game win streak starters:

Reg Season - Boston - Happ
Reg Season - Boston - Sanchez
WC Game - Baltimore - Stroman (playoffs)
ALDS Gm1 - Texas - Estrada (playoffs)
ALDS Gm2 - Texas - Happ (playoffs)
ALDS Gm3 - Texas - Sanchez (playoffs)

So the 4 man rotation for the post season started with Stroman.

Will be interesting to see if they slot Stroman in after Estrada, or just skip him altogether and slot him in for game 4

Is Dicky part of the roster for this series?

I like having him available in the bullpen to eat up innings in a lopsided game if necessary.
