Nah, there was no contact until after the pick wax dropped. Nothing worth challenging. Dash_pinched is right though, there should be a penalty for throwing a challenge flag when you don't have one

I'm surprised they allow challenges in OT

I would go for it rather than kick a FG

Dickenson has brain damage. Refuses to run the ball inside the 5. Total clown.

They both deserved a loss but unfortunately that can't happen.

Garbage way to end a game. Cfl needs to change that format.

Wimp move by Ottawa.

That's two games the stamps should have won, but refuse to use Messam. Unbelievably stupid.

Mitchell threw the ball 51 times including OT, 8 touches for Messam, including OT.

Yes Dash was right. It happened it NCAA with one player called a timeout when they were out of it and got penalized for it. I can't remember that guy's name. He ctually became a star in the NBA. Rick Campbell was trying to be sneaky on that challenge so Dickerson followed suit. Like I said nothing to lose, you never know the official might see something that might overturn the call so they get the first down.

Anyways, I am okay with the tie.

Chris Webber for Michigan is the NCAA player your thinking of.

Ya, this team is not good. Should still easily make the playoffs with the Riders and Bombers in the division... But overall this is a bad team.

I think the talent level is OK - just a very poorly coached team, and I don't see that improving anytime soon

How, how, how do the Stamps not run it at 1st and Goal from the 4?

You have Messam! Use him! Just madness.

What a weird game!! Both team could have won it but both team threw the game away with bad mistakes and bad penalties.

Offense: I thought Stamps were just okay. West seems to be playing well and Bakari Grant just proved that he belongs in the starting lineup. Unfortunately he would win the game for the Stamps in OT if he caught that easy ball in the end zone. Offense is still a bit inconsistent but I am sure they'll get there. We have a more balance team so I am not worried about this offense at all. BEST OFFENIVE PLAYER: Bakari Grant.

Defense: Run defense? Pass Defense? Redblack's offense just kicked Stamps' D. Like I mentioned earlier we definitely misses Juwan Simpson and maybe Keon Raymond as the opposing RB is just running over our LBs. MLB Taylor Reed is awful and you can tell a big difference when he went down and Alex Singleton took over the MLB position. With all of our Canadian DLine injured, Singleton will be a good option to start the MLB position next game and they can dress n American interior lineman. As far as our DLine, none of them are noticeable except Charleston Hughes. No pass rush at all. Very questionable calling by Defensive Coordinator Claybrooks. Secondary, Bennett had a bad night and got beat by Chris Williams on a couple of TD. I thought Campbell was good though. BEST DEFENSIVE PLAYER: Charleston Hughes 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble.

Special Team: Again Roy Finch was our best ST player followed by Maver. K Rene Paredes is struggling big time. You can tell by looking at him that his confidence was a bit shattered. I am sure once he started making those field goals he'll get better. I wonder if he is getting too comfortable because he knew his job in not in jeopardy.

Anyways, it is only fitting that the game ended up in a tie because both teams played don't deserve the win. Too many mistakes by both teams.

Game notes:

Messam with some good runs, couple called back due to penalties. He needs to be used more.

Bo is starting to find his receivers, not having a #1 receiver is evident right now.

Grant with couple good plays but let the possible game winning TD go right through his hands.

Parker still sucks, I wish SCC was starting his place.

OL held their own, lotsa time for Bo most of the night.

Besides Hughes no one else got any pressure on Harris. Beltre needs to step up.

Reed not impressive, Mayo not impressive, was Burnett even playing?

Singleton with a boneheaded penalty but made up for it and then was buzzing around the ball. He will replace Reed in the middle sooner then later.

Secondary again had a tough night. Time for changes.

Peredes needs to get his crap together.

Onto the bye week and sort out all these issues. Need a receiver to step up and become Bo's go to guy and need to get the running game going as well. Secondary needs to sort out their issues. Lots to work on but still one of the better team in the league.

I still can't believe after the week he just had, that Messam had 8 carries. So stupid, and predictable from DD

Wasn't Cornish starting to get pissed last season at the lack of running plays?
