The House of Cards Thread ***WARNING - SPOILERS***
Starting this thread pretty much to avoid spoilers in the "I need a new TV series to get into" thread.
WARNING: BIG SPOILERS RIGHT AWAY. Click the tags at your own risk
I absolutely loved Season 1. Netflix hit the jackpot with this series. Even as monotone as he/his character is, Spacey is always exciting to watch and how can you go wrong with Kate Mara.
I haven't seen any of Season 2 yet, but have heard it starts great and gets you wanting more quickly. Also have heard (haven't double checked) that this is the first series on TV that is actually filmed in 4K, for those of you with a kick ass TV.
Didn't want to, but in fairness, I removed the pic...

Don't read if you haven't started season 2 yet.

In the last few weeks I've found that Cards has similar buzz to Suits among young people... didn't expect that. Good indicator that the show is good.

I'm 7 episodes in. Awesome. Can't wait to get through the rest.

I've seen the first 4 episodes and so far it is much more exciting than the first season.

Yeah me and the wife slammed through 4 episodes of Season 2 last night (couldn't stop) and goddamn, it is as good or exceeding the already stellar precedent set by season 1. Spacey and Wright deserve every award they have got/will get.

Season 1 was good, very good in fact. But 5 episodes into season 2 now and HoC is easily one of the best shows on right now. Between it, True Detective, Game of Thrones, and Breaking Bad, the Emmy's are going to be swept

Finished it last night. Curious as to where they're going to take season 3.
I hate spoiler tags in dedicated threads, but since it's still relatively new:

Someone should put the spoiler tag in the thread name. I'll keep this in spoiler tags for now. As far as the final episode went:
And Jackie has been making up for Zoe

I avoided this thread like the plague until I powered through the episodes on Sunday and Monday.
