Brodie probably just said, "Don't worry Eric, I didn't lose any respect for you."

It's funny that instead of just tweeting out a simple "sorry" for anyone who cares, he puts Brodie in an unnecessary awkward situation where Brodie is obviously just going to say "it's fine don't worry about it."

He's a dink. Case closed.

I didn't think Francis could sink any lower, and yet here we are.

What a piece of ####. Instead of just apologizing he doubles down by not only having the gall to confront Brodie about it but then to publicly defend his scumbag comment by leveraging Brodie and actually saying only people who misconstrued it would find it in poor taste.

#### you Eric Francis.

Oh, Francis said case closed. phew, and I was worried.

This tweet aside, you're still the king of lazy opinionated clickbait BS 'journalism' Eric, so piss off. I wonder if when he "reached out" he even apologised or just straight up asked if he was offended, in which case of course Brodie isn't going to start anything.

What bugs me even more is how he just thinks anyone that disagrees with him or calls him out is just a troll.

As a whole, I don't think Eric Francis has been as obnoxious lately as he usually is, but this whole Brodie thing is making him look really bad.

Does the timeline really matter?? You don't get better over time with MS. It usually goes the other way. Regardless if Francis says Brodie was ok with histweet. It was classless how he phrased it.

Francis tweet is like " I'm not racist. I have a black friend who is not insuleted when I say the n word."

Well no #### Eric wasn't there. It was. Journalist day for interviews. He isn't a journalist . At best he is a ####ty bloger who happens to have a friends that can get him back stage.

Had he just come out with specfic names like Francis I'm sure the fans could gofundme his salary to bring him back.

Imagine Francis if he was working in Ottawa covering Craig Andersons selfish time away from the team this year.

Pretty weak tweet by Francis. Instead of apologising like a normal person would do, he puts Brodie in an awkward position of having to say it's not a big deal. Of course Brodie would say that. Look how Francis runs right back to twitter right away to 'report' what was said. Francis would be crying all over twitter if Brodie did what most people would have done and told him to #### off.

Smart move by Brodie not to let Francis escalate things.

Now I am starting to think that you actually believe that the Flames players are "satisfied" about their four game sweep by the Ducks.

As someone who does a lot of work with KidSport, the comments about Eric being a crappy person are pretty uncalled for.

Poor tweets aside, the charitable work this guy does in Calgary is incredible.

It matters in so far as we wish to be factually correct. I have no idea how much his wife's health has factored in to Brodie's decision, and it doesn't matter—it is none of our business. My point was to correct the perpetuation of inaccurate information, and NOT to leverage that information into an argument about virtue.

Has nothing to do with the fact that he sucks at his job. Most of us would love if he stuck to what he was good at and if that's charity work then great.
