I don't begrudge City and their supporters anything. Or to be more precise I could care
Who cares that they have spent the most money. I could care less. Teams still have to be managed, individual personalities, tactics, getting a squad of players to buy into a system. Know their roles.
They also have to buy smart and buy clever. Eg watched OGS on the overlap last night and he was telling United Haaland was special and to move quickly and they could have got him for €20M from Salzburg but they slept in. Dortmund stepped in and the rest is history... Same with Rice. Could have had him 4-5years ago and slept in. Instead they've squandered millions on duds.
Chelsea have squandered millions. United billions between fees and wages. City have spent billions... well. Including picking up the dud KDB from Chelsea.
Point is some teams will always have more spending power than others. But that doesn't guarantee anything. Just look at Chelsea and PSG.
But it's laughable to hear the whining of posters about financial dominance in one league who follow BM in another.
When Pep goes they'll be spending the same money with half the success.

Yes, money isn't a guarantee. But it is the most material factor. It is also the only reason why City are where they are.
Without petro money, or in Chelsea's case, money stolen from the Russian Federation, they wouldn't have those players, tactics or management. Without that money coupled with breaking every FFP rule, they wouldn't have had Pep in the first place.
Also, the impact of the cheating has been magnified exponentially through the sanctions levied against other Clubs for far less egregious breaches.

Until last season, I would take them winning the league over my rivals. However, seeing how much it takes to compete with them changed my mind and gave me a new appreciation of how Liverpool have been competing with them.
While I can acknowledge that my club and those around us are relatively advantaged, I've seen what happens when we don't get things right. City are insulated from those consequences. They even appear to be insulated from the consequences of breaking the rules to gain unfair advantages.

If City can't win I'll be okay with a draw. I really wouldn't mind Arsenal winning. Anyone but Liverpool

Either that was total luck on a poorly taken corner falling to Stones, or a really well executed corner to send it in low in the near post for a redirect. Feels like Man City really needed the first goal.

Yes! Level.
Sorry Ake, City are just going to have to buy someone better than you.

They already did with Gvardiol. Surprised Pep didn't sub Ake and Alvarez at halftime, they've both looked sketchy.

Draw was always the most likely result, great weekend for Arsenal.

Liverpool really had MC in that second half. Diaz should’ve buried one of his few chances.
Great game overall.

Pretty much. But that match was a tale of two halves. I thought City had the better of the 1st half and the 2nd half was like one-way traffic for Liverpool.
Say whatever else you will...its a 1-1 draw in a match that was so even...I dont know what more to say.
That entire match was balancing on the edge of a knife. It could have gone either way but neither team went over the edge.

And after a week of Trent and Liverpool fans banging on Man City, they all get to become big Man City fans next PL match. Gotta love sport.

I just feel like if we'd had healthy Trent and Matip and Robertson from the start and Alisson Liverpool could have really taken it to them.
They played well with the Academy kids, all the credit in the world to them.

Luton is suddenly losing 4-3 to Bournemouth after being up 3-0 at half-time ... that's how you go down.

That Coventry-Wolves match might have been the game of the year, incredible last 20 minutes especially.
