Way better fit for him than being in the SEC IMO.

@BruceFeldmanCFB:
SOURCES: #UCLA is set to make an announcement this AM that Chip Kelly will be the Bruins new head coach. HUUUUUUUUGE get for UCLA.

BREAKING Chip Kelly will get a five-year deal with #UCLA at over $4 million per year to be the Bruins new head coach, source tells me.

Wow I'm totally shocked that the garbage play of O'Korn costs Michigan any chance to win the game. Utterly shocked.

Looks like West Virginia studied the Kansas game plan against Oklahoma. Cheapshot artists.

Yeah and their living a worse fate. Getting absolutely #### kicked. The Sooner offense has to be the best in NCAA right now. They look scary then their defense takes the field and.....

It’s always a great day when Nick Saban loses. This College Football Playoff just got really interesting.

Love the absolute chaos with Alabama losing.

Crazy stuff...love it though.

So if Wisconsin beats Ohio St. next week to go 12-0 and win the Big 10, Miami beats Clemson for the ACC, Auburn beats Georgia for the SEC, TCU beats Oklahoma for the Big 12, USC wins the PAC 12, Alabama watches it all and Notre Dame beats Stanford tonight...who gets the 4 spots?

LOL.

LOL.
In that scenario, Wisconsin, Miami, Auburn all get in IMO. And since OU loses, Bama sneaks in at 4.

But more chaotic would be OU winning the B12. Because then they can't be left out. And that means Bama stays home, which is crazy.

I don't see how you could leave out Auburn with 3 wins against Georgia and Bama.

I guess you could make an argument that Bama is still better than Miami or Wisconsin but at the end of the day you have to respect results. Yes Miami has a weak loss but they beat some good team and one bad day can be forgiven, even if it was at a crucial time late in the season. Same for Wisconsin. Yes, Bama has proven more but they didn't win when it mattered most today. Wisconsin beats a very good OSU and I think they make it.

If Wisconsin and OU loses, then it's pure chaos. I'd have one of Clemson or Miami. One of Georgia or Auburn. Then who? Bama and ND? But no B10, no B12 and no PAC12? That'd piss off a lot of people but if Georgia and Miami win their conferences that gives a lot of credibility to ND justifying their loses, even if they did lay an egg in Miami. Bama and TCU? Bama and OSU?

I see no scenario where the PAC 12 champ is even considered. And if Wisconsin loses they are out for sure I think.

I think its a decent hire. He has had a lot of success at the college level, and if Urban Meyer hires you, you have to be pretty good at what you do.

That job in Tennessee though....its a hot seat from the get go. Tough conference and the competition for talent is fierce.

With Kevin Sumlin out at Texas A&M, expect AD Scott Woodward to make a big push to try and get Jimbo Fisher from FSU. If they can't land Jimbo... maybe they consider Gary Kubiak or try Kyle Whittingham (#TAMU's president worked with him at #Utah)

After mass protests Tennessee will no longer be hiring Schiano. As is tradition enabling pedophiles is only acceptable at Ohio State and Penn State.

Based on what I've read, there's a really good chance UT is on the hook to pay Schiano something for this failed attempt at a hire.

John Currie won't be the AD when its all said and done if this is true. What a huge disaster at UT.

Good article.

We can argue about whether the majority of the Tennessee fans who revolted to the idea of the Volunteers’ since-squelched hiring of Ohio State defensive coordinator Greg Schiano really were incensed—as they claimed—because of Schiano’s alleged role in the Jerry Sandusky scandal. An accusation of a years-ago comment was never investigated and Schiano was never officially accused of any wrongdoing because he was accused by double hearsay. He also has denied it happened. We’ll unfortunately never know the truth in that matter. We also will never truly know if this is why Tennessee fans rose up Sunday or if they were angry for football reasons—because Schiano went 68–67 at Rutgers and got blown out by former Vols coach Butch Jones’s Cincinnati team near the end of his tenure there
