Makes you wonder if he's taken her case just for publicity as she sure seems like a real loser and likely can't pay him.

My guess that its more likely to be mental illness rather than something more sinister. I haven't followed this closely so I haven't heard anymore description of the deceased other than "infants" which typically refers to babies or very young children. Post-partum depression maybe or still-births at home or something of that vein?
Edit: I guess that at this point its not clear if she is the mother. Also, the lawyer has used the word "fetuses". Was only she arrested because only her name was on the rental? Wonder if the husband was unaware? Strange for sure. Lots of questions.

She has 2 kids, middle class suburban home, married, worked helping people with disabilities, and did volunteer work at a homeless shelter.

She has had a bad gambling problem for 2 decades, recently convicted of fraud. She sounds a bit like a female John Wayne Gacy.

Looks like she has retained the "Great Brodsky" as he is known. Arguably the best defense attorney in Manitoba.

Could they possibly be all 6 of her babies? I don't know how anyone can fathom doing something to infants like that. She already has 2 kids, how are they going to take this. I feel bad for them right now and obviously the 6 children that didn't get a chance to live.

Wow, that is crazy. She rented the unit in March, which also adds a few more questions to the mix.

Can we get the thread title updated from 4 to 6?
