Is Beuchemin UFA?

And Lucic? Pig's will fly before that happens I think.

Colin White is the only one out of those three draft players I'd be okay with.

We must have gotten him in the Wotherspoon trade.

Poirier and Wotherspoon appear to be the players he has moving out for Lucic.

Sieloff over Wotherspoon?

He was pretty good in Abbotsford. Maybe he'd be okay for Stockton and what no Wotherspoon. Sometimes I wonder how much these paid reporters actually know anymore than us fans.

^ O come on there can be plenty of opinion on the 10th defenseman and 17th forward depth wise

I like Scott Cullen, this year's Flames gameplan isn't too exciting as there isn't too much to speculate on; which is not to say there won't be surprises as the rebuild progresses.

If you look at the Bruins game plan they have Wotherspoon and Poirier there. He made up a fake trade and decided to go with it, without actually mentioning it really. Odd way to go about it.

IIRC Burke said one of the reasons they bought out SOB was because he refused to buy into Hartley's hard work mantra.

So a shot-blocking machine who is an absolute warrior on the ice and found a scoring touch last season is now on the trade market? Why?

Probably wants the flames to get rid of players with the intangibles that can't easily be measured so the Flames start to fall in line with the advanced stat narrative of being unsustainable.

How can you mention advanced stats so much then mention Ortio's save percentage and say he has to be better?

Guy really didn't seem to know the Flames all that well. The defense is mindnumbling wrong.

I'm on the boat that we do nothing at all. See what we need after a full training camp.

I love reading articles written by people who probably didn't watch a Flames game all year other than the ones against the Leafs... Always good for a chuckle.

Seriously though I'd love Lucic here!
