I like AO72. I also laugh when people fall off their bikes.

I know I comment because I get a thorough enjoyment of what asinine thing he will say next. He's constantly getting owned by responses and then he abandons is viewpoint and it's off to the next terrible opinion. I love watching delusional Oiler fans implode.

The amount of pure ridiculousness and the far reaching and delusion I see when he tries to defend his statements and or team is actually quite entertaining to me. Most Oiler fans I know or engage with are truly delusional and it never ceases to amaze me. It's kind of like a bad car wreck that you simply can't help but look at although you know you will regret looking.
I will say that Oil Stain seems like someone who could have a reasonable conversation with about the two teams and their strengths and weaknesses. It's great when he chimes in because he defends when it is reasonable, but will also agree when he knows that what being said has some merit.
In saying that, please don't stop posting, Alberta Oil. You make me laugh often

It's sad that many Oiler fans do not seem to understand this.

Have you ever talked to an Oiler fan? They don't understand much about their "team" or hockey.

Absolutely no offence, but I couldn't disagree more.

This is a discussion forum by definition, and in August there isn't a whole lot to talk about. If a cocky Oiler fan thinks he can come on and lay down some tripe comments unchecked I think that's sad.

I've been debating crap like this for 20 years, and there's nothing more fun than seeing a guy talk himself into a corner.

To ignore it would mean the site really isn't necessary wouldn't it?

It's like letting some guy slap your wife on the ass and you just ignore it because you think the guy is just trying to get a rise out of you. Damn right he's getting a rise out of you.

The key is the result. Do you reply in some feeble way and get your gonch yanked over your head, or do you push his nose to the other side of his face?

Oh boy, David Clarkson was assigned #97 by Vegas.

Prepare for the disrespect to McDavid articles to come out.

Have they released all their assigned numbers? Where did you find this info?

Expect a Spector article out by noon with a Principe interview of Connor about how he feels about it.

Or rather an interview with Clarkson on how he feels, sharing the number with greatness.

I suspect the Oilers will retaliate by inexplicably going after Brandon Manning.

Vegas should retire clarkson's number the first night they play the oilers at home. Instant rivalry.

Vegas should give a bunch of their depth players offensive numbers. 86, 88, 66, 77 ... would be hilarious.

Change the nameplate on the back for certain numbers...

7 - Natural
11 - Snake Eyes
44 - Eight the hard way
