No charges will bel laid following a long and complex Alberta RCMP investigation into allegations of voter fraud and identity theft in the 2017 United Conservative Party leadership race won by Jason Kenney.
RCMP announced the conclusion of their investigation at a news conference in Edmonton Friday following a closed-door technical briefing with reporters.
Since 2019, RCMP have been investigating allegations of fraud and identity theft in the contest that Kenney won in October 2017. RCMP characterized the investigation in a news release as high-profile and extremely complex.

A five year investigation for this? Don't worry Jason, you'll always be a criminal to me. And the failure that got replaced by a moron. Quite the legacy.

What do you mean by other platforms?
In my opinion, Sports betting (betting / gambling in general) should stay with the government. I don't see a reason to privatize it.

I would prefer all of my coal delivered pre-pressed, at say.. about 725,000 pounds per square inch.

If it is legal we might as well have options and competition for betting platforms. Play Alberta is a pretty poor implementation and it would be nice to be able to pick a platform based on specific features which are important such as odds, availability of betting types, UI/App experience, promotions or rewards, etc.

Just use any number of the operators out there. What’s the big deal?

As Alberta heads into a record drought in southern Alberta, how much water does Northback want to drill Grassy Mountain?
1,500,000 litres
(1,500 M3 is the nice way of saying that...)

That’s roughly 0 water.
You are talking about 15 seconds of flow from the old man river. Or roughly 20 cows of water for a year.

That is for each well drilled.
Pretty damn sure it is times the number of “planned” wells, doesn’t account for losses in various zones.
People east of there better keep an eye on your wells, loss of water or contamination from drilling processes because they aren’t cased!

That info is suspect. 1500 m^3 is nothing. But getting it at a rate of 0.5 m^3 per second is 50 minutes worth of water?

At an average of 25 litres per cow per day, 165 cows will die of thirst by year’s end

Alberta's ban on renewables could hurt C$11 billion in investments, says study
https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canad...3139ba71&ei=21
Quote:
OTTAWA (Reuters) - Canadian province Alberta's ban on some renewable projects could hurt C$11.1 billion ($8.24 billion) in investments and stall up to 6.3 gigawatts (GW) of solar and wind power capacity, a study said on Monday.
The new rules can potentially impact 42 projects valued at over C$11 billion and several thousand jobs, the Pembina Institute, an Alberta-based clean energy think tank, said in the study.

Anyone know if there's going to be a stream of Nenshi's announcement anywhere? Supposed to be happening at 1pm.

When does Nenshi get attacked that he's a man, when does it get to that? A man coming in late against a bunch of women is an interesting dynamic especially with the mudslinging starting early.
