Anyone else seen the documentary "The Keepers"? Because the wife and I are two episodes in and it is ####ing insane what went on there.

That's all I'll say about it. It's been pretty fast paced and very disturbing given it's a true story.

I just finished it. Very well done. Saldy, just another in a long line of abuses and cover ups in the Catholic Church.

Yup, posted about it last month. One of the better docs I've seen. So many odd twists, and at the end of day, just sadness. Really well done though.

For something completely off topic, I just finished watching a competition show about BBQ and it was pretty good. It is called BBQ Pit Masters. I am new to smoking and I learnt a few new tricks and such watching them compete.

Watched the entirety of Ken Burn's "Civil War" series. Really eye opening and kind of helps understand the American culture in some respects. The whole "we are Christians, but we gotta kill you for trying to take away our slaves".

Seeing some of the civil war veterans later on when film was finally invented was cool, and just imagining that some veterans lived until the 1950s. Incredible that there were still people alive then that had been around to see Lincoln and give accounts.

I am also taking back a comment about he poor comedy specials being put up on Netflix. Just watched the first 3 episodes of "The Stand ups" and they are actually really funny.

I watched the Dan Soder and Nate Bargatze half hours. Really funny. I hope the rest are as good.

Nikki Glazer wasn't my favourite. Got a little too Sarah Silverman-ish with the shock talk.

I think I enjoyed every single one of the Stand-Ups. They all had some stuff that missed with me (except Dan Soder and Nikki Glazer, who I find hilarious at all times) but they also all had stuff that cracked me up.

I liked all of the standups as well. Nate Bargatze and Beth Stelling were my favourites.

Watched them all yesterday and today. Enjoyed them all, but I also was familiar with all the comics to begin with.

Jeez, Castlevania is only four 20-something minute episodes?!

I thought maybe they'd be adding new episodes weekly, like they occasionally do.

Decent show.

I find it odd that Netflix will send out emails about some new content, but fail to mention when something big shows up. Nothing for Moana or Rogue One.

I received an email for both of those movies on release, it was one of those "we just added a movie you might like" emails.

Shoot. The movies it thinks I might like actually suck.

I am going to guess this has to do with the Netflix watching habits of my kids.

Sure, blame the kids.

I got emails for Rogue and Moana too.

Yeah, I get suspect recommendations too and didn't get notified about Rogue One. I've wondered if I just filled out the form about movies I like in a weird way when I signed up eight years ago or whenever it was.

Watched it with the wife last night. Oddly enough Rogue One was under the genre "Girls Night In".

Sure.
