Default Pens staying quiet about Goaltending

The Pittsburgh Penguins went into the 2016-17 CPHL season with the plan that Matt Murray would develop in the AHL for one more season before taking over the starting reins in 2017-18.

That was before the Pens acquired Pekka Rinne. Rinne kickstarted the Pens and was a big part of the teams success going 35-16-4 in 55 starts as a Pen.

GM Goffie is quiet on what the future holds. But a source close to the situation says there is a lot hinging on what happens in the Stanley Cup Championships.

Could it be true that there is a loser leaves town match happening right now? Time will tell.
