Haven't been following the Hitmen but looks like Karnaukhov is way off his pace from last year. Any reasons?
Then I looked at the other CHL prospects and they're all trending lower than last year

He's been hurt hasn't he? His PPG is up a bit this year.

Barrie vs London is on Sportsnet Ontario if anyone gets it.
Magiagnpie (which I just butchered) just had a great chance shorthanded.

I think he ends up being a solid scoring 3rd liner. He is tenacious. He is speedy. He is deadly on the PP and really effective on the PK. I think he has an honest shot at making it.

I thought he had a realistic shot the very first time I saw him at dev camp with how smartly and tenaciously he was competing in the corners. That's part of what separates the Gaudreaus and Byrons from the Sam Gagners of the world.

I remember during the Young Prospects game, he performed a number of open-ice takeaways in the O-zone and managed to get shots off after. He was all over the puck carriers, making life difficult.
Tenacious is definitely the word for this guy.

Is there a coaches challenge in the OHL? I'm guessing they don't have enough camera angles to get calls right for goaltender interference calls but they could probably get most of the offside calls right.

You want more goals, stop this silliness of 2 guys stopping at the blueline so they aren't one step ahead of the puck. It kills so much offense. Offsides could definitely be re-evaluated
