It is of utmost importance that the Oilers lose to Flames in regulation, and then proceed to miss the playoffs by 1 point.

Even though I want a top 3 pick, I really hope flames destroy oilers

I just hope McGrattan beast someone up tonight. Either way, this game just screams "meh". The Flames don't seem to want to win and the oilers often forget how.

I was at the game they beat us 6 to 1 last year. It was more humiliating last year than it would be if we lost 7 to 2 this year. I expect to lose this one

Based on the other threads, this may be the last game we see Kipper play in a Flames uniform . . .

C'mon Kipper!!! End your Flames career on a high note and beat those mullet-heads tonight.

There is only one situation in this universe where any Oilers win is a good one, and that is if the Oilers win directly results in the Flames winning the division, conference, league, home ice, or a playoff spot, with the Flames having no more control over their own situation.

There is no situation where the Oilers beating the Flames is a favorable result if you're a Calgarian or an actual Flames fan.

As hard as it is to swallow, the Flames can sink to 29th all on their own, without needing "help" from the Oilers these remaining games. Keeping Edmonton out of the playoffs is also a highly desirable result, again, if you're aware of even the faintest history of the Calgary/Edmonton rivalries.

We might have already seen his last game. If he starts discussions with Toronto and Feaster thinks there is a chance the deal might happen, Kipper will be on the bench.

We will find out soon.

I want the Flames to win then generously donate our 2 points to someone who needs it more. There we can have it both ways.

Got to wonder what the mood is like in the dressing room right now. As a player it must suck to see the whole thing being dismantled.
