The name trick only works once for Espeon and Umbreon but there is another way to evolve them if you want multiples. If you walk Eevee 10km and then evolve him when he is your buddy you get Espeon during daytime or Umbreon if evolved at nighttime. You can do as many as you want too which is nice for lucky eggs. Just get a bunch of Eevee's walked up to 10km and then make sure to make him your buddy again before evolving.
Hatched my first Dratini after 560 eggs! Larvitar are sure proving to be rare. I will be walking it as soon as I find the little bastard. Special items needed for evolutions is hard to find too. Got my first from 7th day spin bonus but that seems like the only sure way to get one.

I got a Kings rock from my 7day bonus. I don't have enough slowpoke or poliwag candies to evolve anyway.
I have enough candies for every other special item evolve.

I've seen a couple so I think Mantine are semi-rare like Skarmory.
Based on NYC and London scanners I think the really rares are going to be Larvitar/Pupitar/Tyranitar and Mareep/Flaffy/Ampharos. Hitmontop too but at least you can hatch Tyrogue. At least that's what I have heard.
Couple other rumors that have pretty much been confirmed are Heracross and Corsola are regionals. Also Gen2 dark pokemon like Murkrow and Hoothoot spawn more at night.
Game is starting to get some depth!

Just need to find the right spot to put it.
Will be impossible to raise prestige of that brute.
Need to drop it in the bottom of a level 9 gym, and expect attackers will look for easier targets

I just started playing again with the gen2 update. Somehow ended up getting 5, yes 5 10km eggs. One turned out to be a Larvitar. He's my buddy until fully evolved and powered up!
2 of them hatched Gligar and the other 2 are about 5km in.

This will not be well received but I hatched the last 2 of the group of 5 10km eggs. A Pineco and Another Larvitar. Just like that I am at 40 Larvitar candy!
Which IV calculator are you guys using?

Also picked up a 4th 10k, it's waiting to start.
I use PokeGenie App for IV calculations.
Added quite a few new ones today, Pokedex now at 183.

Race to the finish? I want to get that monster in a gym. I typically get 5-10km in a day. What kind of mileage do you put on?
