Liverpool would have top four basically locked up right now if they didn't blow it twice against Bournemouth. Five points down the drain in games they just have to close out.

I knew it. I told you! I told you all along! It was always Bournemouth!

Remember when United's Twitter feed congratulated Fellaini on 100 appearances for the club, then second later he gave the penalty away to Everton? Liverpool's Twitter had a similar experience today

So Jesse Lingard apparently now makes £100,000 per week on his new deal with United. Gotta love being born in England, the surest way to get overpaid in the PL.

I like Lingard a lot. Great squad player, homegrown talent and a great backstory (at the club since he's 7, lots of injuries, told he's too small to make it etc).

But man, football's gone bonkers when Jesse Lingard makes 100k per week. Not good.

That's basically it right there. 100k for an average squad player.
About as effective as Cleverley.

The worst of it all is this is the first salary agents will point to in negotiations.

Ya I don't get it at all

They could have sold him to a mid table club for maybe 15m because he's English

He's never going to be more than a bench player

I still think he's probably 14 or 22 months from being a west ham or Everton player

Kane back in first team training

Should make the bench tomorrow, great timing, wouldn't be surprised if he started either

But will have 2 games to get ahead of the FA Cup semi

I guess Everton then because not many Championship teams can afford that kind of wage.

Low blow, but I can't really argue against it.

When you roll over that easy with some banter it almost makes me feel bad!

I've watched every West Ham game this season. I am now a hollow shell of the human being I once was.

Could always be worse. Imagine spending a couple hundred million, bringing in a special new manager, being unbeaten for a long string and no further ahead than you were last year! Although maybe that's not worse then what you're going through...well I tried!

And its against Liverpool! Its like guaranteed win night for Stoke!

Does Lifetime Liverpool fan Jonathan Walters score? Of course he does. Like clockwork.

Guy gets like 2 goals a year and they're always against Liverpool.
