yup! immediate turn around - they stopped the Esks and then two quick TDs.

This one's all on me!

Maybe, but Coehoorn was offside on that 2 point conversion and possibly didn't even make the catch so it evened out.

Good that they won, but they took way too many penalties for a team that was first in the CFL for not taking them. Yeah the refs made some questionable calls, but you can't be beating yourself by going offside a half-dozen times a game.

Although it has to be disheartening for other teams to see the Stamps just keep winning no matter what.

Looks like the biggest test will be BC in west final.

I love the fact that this is true.

That being said, the Stampeders have to win the West final.

I think the Eskimos are a better team - not as complete but their offensive weapons are elite.

Just hope that Ciante Evans is okay, he would be a big loss to the Stamps secondary if he's out for an extended period of time.

I'm glad Bakari Grant is ok, that was one of the worst facemasks I've ever seen by Cauchy Muamba.

This is turning into a special football team.

Dickenson proving to be a very good head coach as most suspected.

I think my favorite part of htis club is that other than Bo, this isnt a team of 4-5 superstars. This is a club with really good players at every single position and in most cases multiple good players at every position.

Really hope the injury to Finch isn't as bad as it looked. he was starting to get that vibe that every time he got the ball....lookout.

Really fun team to watch.

There are three teams ahead of them, and they have mostly road games in October.

Never look at this first half ever again. Second half was fantastic.

Big win and lots of character shown.

The best part? its basically a young team. Only few starters that are over 30. A lot of those guys in their prime or going into their prime.

Over 30 starters
RB - Messam - still playing well, although I'm not the biggest fan
FB - Cote - still playing well, captain. Power & Langlais developing behind him
SB - McDaniel - still playing well, clutch on those 2nd downs
P - Maver - still playing well, right up there with import Leone
K - Peredes - still playing well, early season converts troubles are behind him
DE - Hughes - still playing well, Davis & Beltre developing around him
HB - Smith - still playing well, Richardson likely replaces him in next 2 years
FS - Bell - meh, I wish we had a better safety

Out of 27 starters, just 8 are 30 and over (that inlcudes K, P, FB) that is impressive. It's crazy how Huff and co. have chugged out great players.

No doubt they are the 2nd best offense in the league.

That defense though? It's possible only Saskatchewan is worse.

If the Esks are to make the playoffs, it looks like it will be in a crossover at this point. And even that looks sketchy after this game.

I think Hughes' play is starting to drop off - great leader and mentor but I don't know how long he will be here.

This game is a combination of bad and good for the Stampeders. I think Stamps needed this type of game once in awhile to avoid them being way comfortable.

PENALTIES:
Stamps are very undiscipline in this game. Way too many unnecessary and dumb penalties that was killing the offensive drives and also giving the Eskimo's offense more chances. I think most of the Stamps penalties are warranted but there are some that were not. There are some calls that was just plain awful. Oh well refs are human and they are allowed to make mistakes. Stamps have been very disciplines this season but tonight's game they threw it all out.

OFFENSE:
They started off slow and they don't seems to be prepared for this game. The 2nd half was totally different. Bo Levi Mitchell proved again that he is the best or one of the best QB in the CFL. R Davaris Daniels is making Dave Dickenson's decision of taking him off the rosters in favour of Joe West very difficult. The way he's been playing ever since he got in the roster has been great. West is now healthy but he's been scratched 2 games already. R Bakari Grant have been playing well and it is showing the reason why Hufnagel went after him in the offseason. Again, Bo Levi Mitchell is a clutch when the game is on the line. This offense is so complete.

DEFENSE:
Bad first half but on the second half they were awesome only giving up 3 points in the 2nd half. They would have shut down the Eskimos offense completely but the dumb penalties gave the Eskimos offense another chance and almost cost them a game. Tommi Campbell had a bad 1st half getting beat twice but he bounced back in the 2nd half. Stamps lost Ciante Evans in the game but Shaquille Richardson came in and was not bad. Charleston Hughes was getting doubled team early but came in strong in the second half.

SPECIAL TEAM:
They did not give up a big play today and there's not much I can talk about them. Paredes streak ended at 32 but he did not lose his composure. Roy Finch got hurt in that big play in the 4th quarter but only missed a few series on punt return.

Anyways it was a good win.

Yep. Stamps were coasting to start the game complacency is hard to avoid when you've won so many games in a row.

Hopefully. I know there's only a 46 man roster but I don't see why Evans was even on special teams. He's your star corner, he should be protected from teams play where a lot of injuries occur.

I think Beltre's injury happened during a special team play last week too.

Rosters might need to be expanded a little bit so your starters aren't subjected to play special teams play.

Is it too early to throw Winnipegs hat in? I don't think they should be written off as one and done in the post season.
