The newest one

I didn't know whether to put this here or in the metal thread (never thought I'd run into that dilemma)

(and yes I know it's not Korean)

I like foreign music because it lets me imagine the lyrics are about something profound.

My illusion is now shattered.

Cool link at the bottom of one of those articles though about a guy doing remixes of Studio Ghibli soundtracks, they're pretty awesome.

Is there such a thing as overdosing on cute?
Photon's favourite group is back.

This is definately not an overdose on cute! And no subtitles so let your imagination run wild!

Not a Korean band, but they are on a Korean "Star Search" type show.

Couldn't keep the smile off my face watching this.

I'm not that entertained by the actual pitch but by the 'ooooh' the crowd makes when she first poses before the spinorama.

Brown Eyed Girls re-creates Kill Bill. Tarantino needs to cast Ga-In in his next movie, any movie!

For those who enjoy KPop and Korean music in general, there is a very cool app called Musictalk that plays Korean songs. If there is a video associated with the song, it will show it as well. You can create playlists, or search by genre, or artists, or albums. My wife uses this all the time. The only thing though, you have to know how to read Korean.

Oh ya, it's free.

New Drama!
Historical, Romance and BASKETBALL!

That's right down my alley.

It started today, it's loosely based on the 1948 Unified Korean Basketball team that made the quarters in London. The only ever unified Korean team of any kind (in 1936 they competed for Japan and by 1952 they had split in two)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basketball_(TV_series)

Quote:
Basketball (Hangul: 빠스껫 볼; RR: Bbaseukket Bol) is an upcoming South Korean television series starring Do Ji-han, Lee Elijah and Jung Dong-hyun.
Set during the turbulent years of the Japanese occupation until independence, and a few years before the division of Korea into North and South, the story is about the first and last time that Korea had a single, unified national basketball team, which made history by advancing to the quarterfinals of the 1948 London Olympics. The drama follows the loves, conflicts, unity, and emotional victory of young athletes who cling to the sport as the bright spot in the darkness of their times.
Watch it here with English Subtitles

http://www.viki.com/tv/20308c-basketball

The show will air every Monday and Tuesday night in Korea for 12 weeks.

Here's the trailer. I couldn't find a subtitled one but you can pretty much guess what's going on.

Anyone going to watch with me?
