Stars going all in. Will be interesting as Radulov isn't the typical kind of player that thrives under Hitchcock. They could go from winning the conference to out of the playoffs back to winning the conference in a three year span if the defense holds up.

Quite an offseason for Jim Nill. How to make over your club in 30 days.

My early pick would be the Sharks but the Blues, Oilers are two other teams I could see miss out.

Figured that the Sharks would make a big push for Radulov after Marleau walked. Dallas is gonna be a tough out this season if Bishop holds up.

Great deal for Radulov if he stays committed to performing well.

That's going to be a scary good first line of Benn, Seguin and Radulov. Their defense still blows though.

Seguin , Benn & Radulov those 3 could combine for upwards of 100 goals this season.

Interesting deal, it will be like the Gaborik deal for LA. Two good years and then a big drop off. Probably will be a compliance buyout after the next work stoppage.

Man, Dallas is going hard. As mrdonkey said, where are they getting the cap space?
Personally, I wouldn't touch that contract at 5 x $6M. But you have to believe that Dallas is going to be substantially improved this year.
IMO, there are 11 teams in the west that are capable of making the playoffs. And I would put them in 3 tiers:
1) Chicago, Anaheim, Nashville
2) Minnesota, St Louis, Calgary, Edmonton, SJ
3) LA, Dallas, Winnipeg
I would argue that Chicago, SJ and LA are poised for decline or are moving in the wrong direction. Maybe Anaheim too.
Calgary and Dallas made big moves this summer. I think that Edmonton had a bit of a Cinderella year and might have a sophomore slump, but overall, they are on the upswing with Calgary and Dallas. Hard to say what we get from Winnipeg. Anaheim too.
The west is going to be an insane battle this year.

I dont know, hed have to really screw the pooch. If he put up ~50 points in Montreal he should easily surpass that riding shotgun on that line.
