The Thursday OOT should be a good one! The Penguins, Islanders,
and Capitals are in a five team dog pile for the last two playoff spots in
the eastern conference.The Panthers, Hurricanes, and Bruins continue
to battle it out for first or second place in the east too. The Lightning are
only four points back of the Leafs for third place in the Atlantic Divison.

Over in the western conference, the Blues and Wild need to win to keep
their slim playoff hopes alive. The Kings and Predators who hold the last
two playoff spots are separated by one point can also catch other teams
in their respective divisions. The Avalanche are five points back of first
place in the west.

The Senators to be spoilers to close out the season, NOT! The Panthers mauled them to death, 6-0.

Crosby had zero points in the Penguins big 4-1 win. Ovechkin scored the lone Capitals goal.

Dobson scored the winning goal three minutes into the third period. The Islanders win 4-2.

The Lightning won 7-4 and are now just two points of the stinkin' Leafs. Kucherov gets three points and Vasilevskiy was the back up.

It was 1-1 after twenty minutes in Nashville. The Predators took the lead with early and late goals in the second period. It is now 4-1 Predators early in the third period. Bye-bye Blues. Saros has been awesome in net as the Blues have fired 40 shots at him.

Colorado is up 3-2 in Minnesota.
