I agree.

This movie deserves to be epic.

Whenever I see Wasp now, I think of Tina Fey playing the 9 inch hooker with a heart of gold on SNL.

I mean like . . . how does she do it?

CBR has some interesting reports..

http://www.comicbookresources.com/?p...ticle&id=26430

James McAvoy to play Professor Xavier in the upcoming X Men Origins/Reboot "First Class", is that the goat dood from Narnia?

Also "The Flash" is an up and coming DC project with Wonder Woman and Aquaman not far behind. They almost have a big enough cast for a JLA Movie Which we will never see..

I hope James Cameron is ready to direct!

In other news

Quote:
We also reported here at CBR that Green Lantern is set to star in his own animated series. The series is set to air a year after the film is released to theaters. I suppose this may be the reason Bruce Timm recently said their plans to make a sequel to "Green Lantern: First Flight" were scrapped.

And interestingly..

Quote:
Over the weekend, director Guillermo del Toro told fans on The One Ring.net that he was stepping down as director of the project. "In light of ongoing delays in the setting of a start date for filming 'The Hobbit,' I am faced with the hardest decision of my life," he says.
Quote:
While initial reports stated producer Peter Jackson would not be his replaced, Jackson told the Dominion Post, "If that's what I have to do to protect Warner Bros' investment, then obviously that's one angle which I'll explore."
http://www.comicbookresources.com/?p...ticle&id=26462

I am kind of happy over this... it further delays the film, but I was not a fan of the Hell Boy movies. I had a feeling that buddy would ruin this series, Jackson is the only one fit to direct this.

Is Josh Holloway playing anyone in the Avengers, or is that still just a rumour?

Yes, he is a very good actor IMO. He was really good in the Children of Dune min-series, and also very good in Last King of Scotland and Atonement.

And also, like every British Actor in 2001, had a bit part in Band of Brothers.

why does x-men need a reboot? sure the 3rd movie and wolverine's solo one were trash, but the first 2 were still excellent

It's not a reboot, more of an origins story. Hench why Professor X is going to be played by a 30 year old.

My understaing is that it will be a reboot, and this is the first of a few movies. I think it is along the same lines as Spiderman, just more changing the time frame and telling more about the beginning than actually rebooting the story.

But I imagine it will involve Wolverine at some point, which is where movie one starts off, which is why I believe it is called a reboot.

However this is strictly going off rumours of what I have been reading on CBR and similar sites the past few months.

I'm going to call BS on the Capt. America and Thor shots for now as only fan creations. They look to be the same source and the same style.

The reason I am calling BS on the Capt. is I thought most of the story was supposed to be set in WWII.

As for Thor, I really hate that look. Ultimate Thor looked like he belonged in the WWF, not a Norse God. Give him real rustic armor and period costume and his winged helmet and make him a rugged guy without the cheesy goatee please.

Both guys need wings on their heads.

Michael Bay has announced that Shockwave will be a feature villain in Transformers 3.

So which personality do they use? Obedient little b!tch Shockwave from the cartoon or treacherous, cunning, and logical Shockwave from the comics?
