Thanks for the follow up! Clicked your first link and also thought it sounded good. Was about to go ahead with purchasing it when I saw your second post.

Keep us posted!

I played in just survival mode (you just get dumped in an area, your goal is to survive) for a while and it's still pretty fun, though having played through part of the story I understand most of the game mechanics. It's fun searching for stuff, I was sooo happy when I found a hammer so I could break down crates and stuff in minutes instead of an hour.

But taking risks is interesting; to explore more but risk freezing if you can't find shelter, deciding to spend the time to harvest some meat off a carcass (I haven't found a knife yet) vs the risk of a wolf finding you, it's pretty cool. Not sure the survival mode is worth the full price or not tho.

There is also a new complete redesign of the original Deus Ex game that came out recently. Can't find it right now, but I think it's called "Give me Deus Ex"

Pretty neat to see people mod and give me life to classic games

Brutal DOOM is fantastic! I played doom, doom 2, TNT and plutonia experiment on realistic mode and the game changes drastically.

There is a way to play Doom 64 as well. I strongly recommend Brutal DOOM!

On a side note, does anyone know about Pokemon ultrasun and ultramoon? The nintendo website shows little information.

Not sure if this is okay to mention but I have 2 badges for PAX West in a few weeks. Long sold out, just asking for face value price if anybody was interested in going to Seattle.

Guys... Sonic Mania is... actually good!

http://www.metacritic.com/game/plays...c-mania?ref=hp

Not "Good... for a Sonic game" like Generations or Colors but legitimately good! The Sonic Cycle is broken!

Excited to play this on Switch tomorrow.

I'm excited too! I love Sonic and have been wanting them to go back to the old 2D roots.

I originally pre-ordered on Steam but I'm going to get it on Switch instead.

There's a lava reef zone so it has to be good. Worth playing just for that music.

Amazon.ca has changed their Prime discount from 20% to 10%.

Amazon.com is still 20%. Thanks Justin.

I got stuck in this spot in Sonic. If I jump the top opens but I can't get out. There doesn't seem to be any other way to move either.

Spoiler!

That sucks. Glad I went ahead and preordered the new Uncharted last week instead of waiting like I was originally going to do.

Hellblade: Senua's sacrifice came out of nowhere for me, had not even heard of it, and now is easily in my GOTY running. Powerful game.

One of many who is too boring; thinks that there should be rules regarding grammar in custom user titles, and also makes moderators wonder if there is a charachter limit here. I mean come on- you would think that would be a limitation in the software

Mario Kart VR, for those not wanting to play Hemi-Cuda's ham-fisted "I'm not going to tell you what it is because I'm so clever" game.

It's not exactly the riddle of the Sphinx.

If you couldn't figure out that video was a Mario Kart VR game from looking at the game footage, surely the guy dressed as Luigi in a go-cart would have clued you in. If you're still stumped, the wall behind the guy that says "Mario Kart VR" really should have given it away.
