Here's the scoring summary of this afternoon's Heat game:

1. HAM Fortier, (2) (Callahan, Willsie), 4:21 (SH)
1. ABB Armstrong, (1) (MacMillan, Piskula), 6:00
2. ABB Kolanos, (4) (Wilson, Walter), 5:01 (PP)
2. ABB Sylvester, (2) (Patterson), 6:46
3. HAM Engqvist, (2) (DeSimone, Leblanc), 2:03
3. ABB Wilson, (3) (Kolanos, Walter), 2:32 (PP)
3. ABB Sylvester, (3) (Nemisz, Laing), 4:23
3. ABB Walter, (3) , 10:18

Sylvester, Walter, and Kolanos with huge games again. Kolanos is likely to have an assist added to the last Walter goal which would extend his points to 7 in only 2 games!

Edit - a Kolanos assist was officially added to that last Walter goal.

That Johnny Gaudreau pick is looking better every week, for him to be playing so well as a true freshman against competition that is much larger and more developed then him is a very good sign for the future.

Excited to see him at the prospects camp next season.

So Baertschi is still injured? Anyone know when he'll be back?

Yes, still injured. I think he should be back any game now.

Heat are playing tonight. 2-1 after two periods with goals from Nemisz and Rheault. Kolanos keeps the hot streak going with an assist on the Rheault PP goal. Irving appears to be very strong tonight, too.

-

Heat win in Overtime! Joe Piskula from TJ Brodie and Greg Nemisz. Heat go 3-1 on their road trip!

Nice to see the Heat win. Nemisz has 8 points in 10 games. Also good to see Ferland score three and get an assist. Did the "big team" play tonight?

Thank the Lord! Yewww! #stoked

Just saw this tweet from Wahl. Might be reading to much into it, but I wonder if he is on his way to Abbotsford? I think they play on Thursday so maybe we see something in the morning.

Congrats to Wahl. I'm really happy for him. I just really really hope they put him on a line centering Sylvester and Nemisz. That would be a hell of a line.

Apparently the Howse-Armstrong-Patterson line was quite the energy line these last couple of games.

I can see him netting a few goals though if he can get top 4 playing time, but the way Kolanos, Walter, Nemisz, Sylvester, etc. are playing, I can't see him getting that time.

Maybe he'll be the next one to get sent down to Utah.

So with Wahl coming up (which is great news), who goes down?

Likely Howse. Ideally, I'd like MacMillan to be sent down because he contributes little, if anything, to the team.

However, I think it will be Howse because he'll probably play on the top line in Utah.

Great to see that he's lighting it up after his injury

Baertschi scores the game-winner for Portland, he's got 19 points in 9 games.

Make that 20 Points in 9 games.

Not a bad way to come off an injury, 1G 2A.
