Yeah, but that was 60% of his career ago.

When do they reach out to Glencross?

It's comical because I think he's the better option over Bourque.

I think a motivated Bourque still has a place in this league.

You have to get him motivated though.

Hope it works out for him.

Rene Bourque is simply one of the dumbest hockey players I have ever seen. I am convinced he enjoyed the sound shinpads make when a puck hits them.

What's David Moss up to these days? Hoping he gets a shot too in Colorado at some point!

Bourque is essentially a slightly smaller, but speedier version of Colborne.

That's actually the easy part. Keeping him motivated for more than two games in a row on the other hand.....

Also:

So reddit hockey had a buncha threads were all the fans roasted other teams. Each team had one. Well in the Avalanche thread I said How can I hate on the Avs? They are the 2009 - 2011 Flames. I had no idea how true this was to become.

I'm actually kind of disappointed they didn't hire Brent as their new coach, just as the cherry on top.

If you totalized the hockey smarts of both Rene Bourque and Raffi Torres into one player you would still end up with a dumb hockey player.

Why all the Borque hate?

1) He was a servicable player when he was here
2) When he was no longer a servicable player, he garnered Cammy in a trade
3) He only cost a 2nd to acquire

By all accounts, that's the ideal asset. Borque helped the Flames organization immensely!

Because we are talking about the distant past. Past time. He is not that player today.

He was awful even when he scored his 27 goals. He showed up once every 5 games and lit up weaker teams. When the games got tough he disappeared. He's one of my all time most hated players to ever wear the Flames uniform. He was good for about a season and a half then went downhill after that. He played with zero heart or integrity for the game, his effort level on most nights was downright embarrassing.

You're getting lazier and lazier with the contrarian view point. It's like you're not even trying to hide what you're here to do any more.
