FCAV, Commandant: what do you make of Brendan Harms, RW in the USHL?

Our scouts have obviously spent a lot of time scouting that league, and I've seen Harms could be a mid-late round sleeper. What's his skill set? Playmaker?

Yeah, 3rd/4th round seems to be about where he'll go.

He's a playmaker off the wing, but he's also got a decent shot and release so he can score goals as well. The skating is pretty good (not crazy fast, but not bad) and he's a decent stickhandler. He's also good defensively in the USHL.

Size is average, gets involved on the boards and the front of the net, but not a big hitter. More of a take a hit to make a play guy than the initiator.

He's got a lot of good, but he doesn't wow me in any one area, so its hard to put him too high.

How high do you see Nick Baptiste going? 6'1" 190lb RW, wears #12. He kinda reminds me of someone...

Baptiste can play and was very impressive at the Under 18s. He's probably a late 2nd round/early 3rd.

Today we have Justin Bailey of the Kitchener Rangers. A big forward who can play C or RW and has a hell of a shot.

Bailey is the guy I want to drop to our 3rd. If he picks up his physical game I think he could be a gem.

I get wary hearing about big guys who don't like the physical game. At least he skates well.

it said that he was inconsistent with it, I am hoping its a case where he picks his spots rather that just throws the body around all willy nilly and pulling himself out of position
