I think if the Canucks get any sort of goaltending and stay out of the box they should beat the Oilers.

Great game.
To all those that endlessly keep projecting Canucks failure , there is something called living in the present moment.

It really wasn't a "great game".

And most of us aren't projecting Canucks failure from what I've seen over round one. At this point we're on the Nucks side...

Man being a Flames fan is weird this year.

It obviously wasn’t from your perspective and posting through the game. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t a great game.
Yes, there is a very long present and past history of Canucks bashing and continual loser projection here…. perhaps understandable on a Flames forum, especially from hardcore homers.

The Canucks finally started to get some pucks on net and some quality chances and their second and third periods were their best periods in the last few games by a significant amount. The Predators just didn't have many offensive weapons to put out and most of their quality shots came from Forsberg or Josi. The Canucks won't have that luxury with the Oilers who have more weapons up front to contest with.

I am shocked they made it past Nashville with Silovs in net but I am happy they are where they are, everything past this is gravy as far as I am concerned.

You're the only one spouting off about 'loser projection', maybe it's just you?

Why not just enjoy ekeing out an unimpressive narrow victory over the second worst playoff team instead of coming here seeking petty validation from a rival's board?

Your posting style is very odd.

Which is why I'm glad VAN is advancing and not NSH.

Nashville would be a waste of 7 days if 7 days was possible. All they know how to do is defend until a last minute hail mary.

Hopefully Edmonton's style can get Pettersson to pull his head out of his arse, Nashville's style is tough on skilled lightweight players like Pettersson and Hoglander but I expect a lot more from these two against those bums up north.

Really? The 1980s want their technology back. (Are any of the buses still in service that old?)

I would be fascinated to learn why, when every other bit of computer equipment aboard a bus is networked up the wazoo, the sign on the front of the bus is not connected and has to be programmed manually.

Now if the messages could be broadcast to the entire fleet from a single central location that would change things some what.
Yes, it would make it trivially easy to replace one message with another. Even if the total number of messages available is limited, there's always room for at least one topical message that can be changed as needed.

Other transit systems don't have this problem. Why is Vancouver incapable of doing what everyone else can do?

Because Vancouver is no good ?

Perhaps they shall solve it.
