For those who are asking what I spend $25 a week on for groceries:
For almost every home made meal in the last month, I've been buying Great Value packs of whole wheat tortillas, a large pack of sweet kale super food salad mix, and whatever meat is on sale. I'll grill it, add the salad mix, and make wraps with different sauces that I can also keep for work.
I've also experimented with Great Value ramen (12 for $2.97) by just using the noodles but adding to my own broth (simmer beef or chicken bones with onions, carrots, celery) and then also adding different crunchy vegetable mixes to it along with kim chi and again - whatever meat is on sale.
I usually buy the aforementioned vegetables, oranges, and bananas. I'll also get a bag of frozen berries that I add to water like ice cubes. No dairy or alcohol as I have mild lactose intolerance and alcohol intolerance (but I do enjoy sipping a little Single Malt Scotch).
I'm a sucker for McCain shoestring fries so I'll usually throw a bunch in the oven and I bought like 30 packs of McNugget sauce (Hot Mustard and BBQ oh my!) from McDonalds that I keep in my fridge and use for the fries.
I'm a working O&G professional but I'm a single bachelor and my cooking habits never left University it seems.

Go vegan. Or partial vegan. Dairy and meat are just so friggin expensive.
Lentils, beans, rice, oatmeal... less expensive.
I got rhe Veganomicon cookbook and it's helped me a lot with recipes.

Grocery bill is approx $150 per week for 2 adults, a 4 year old and 1.5 year old. My wife and I take lunches to work 4-5 times per week and try to limit eating out beyond that to 1-2 times per week.

between my wife and I we spend on average around $550/month between normal groceries and eating out/coffees etc
eating out portion is average $50 - we make suppers big enough for us both to have lunch leftovers which saves quite a bit

we are a family of 4 - son going on 14, daughter is 11 - I believe that we spend about $150 to $225 per week, plus stuff like ordering pizza and I usually just grab something at lunch because I am too lzay to pack my own.
we try and use cuopons and take advantage fo deals - but we could do better. I tend to look more at prices and per unit costs than my wife does

At least 1500 per month. 2 growing boys and the never ending parade of friends will do wonders to your fridge.
Lots of subway, donair type outings included in that.

We spend $300 per month at Costco and $100 a month at Superstore on specific staples, then $100 per week at Superstore and Co-Op on an as needed basis. That is food and household items (toilet paper, tooth paste etc..).
That $800 a month covers the Monday to Friday meals and supplements the weekend. We also have a weekend budget (with a base of $100 that draws from another fund as we go over) that is used for eating out and sometimes buying extra groceries to cook for company.
My wife is a CA so this is organized to the decimal, she has ironically never flown in a helicopter though.

Probably about $150 at the grocery store (includes household stuff) and $150 eating out. I'm single and work out of town on a 9/5 schedule. Those 4L Tropicana things are a budget killer at $6 each, that and cream cheese are probably the two things spent too much on.
Need to cut down on not eating at home though.

Wow, before coming in here I would've thought I do pretty bad on food spending, but for a family of 5, we spend in the $600-900 range, eat out extremely rarely, but once or twice a month, may get takeout for dinner.
Myself personally, I bring lunch to work every day and maybe spend $20-40 on fast food on the weekend (which I always feel guilty about spending)

I'll splurge on Timmie's or Starbucks once a week. At all other times, I'm okay with the office supplied watered down bitumen, 3 cups a day.

We are around $75 per month. I get a grande dark roast about 20 to 25 times per month and the significant other gets a frappuccino 3 or 4 times a month.

$800-$1000 a month for a family of 4 (youngest is still in diapers). We are getting better at meal planning and trying not to go out (no fun with little kids), but it still feels like we are paying too much. Nice to see others are basically in the same ballpark.

$40-60 depending on how often I go to McDonalds vs. Tims. Skewing way more to McDonalds and the lower end of the scale cause I hate Tims.
I'm dropping that now though. Need to start getting my #### together.

I budget $60 a week for groceries. I probably spend a bit less but then I eat out sometimes which balances it out. That includes household items like shampoo, garbage bags, listerine etc.
