Default Apps for babies that'll work on airplanes

Hi CP,

Sorry this is last minute, but just wondering if there are any good recommendations for apps to keep a toddler entertained on a flight.
We're headed to Calgary tomorrow from Toronto, first time flying with a baby. We generally don't expose him to TV and phones but I figure on the flight, it'll help keep him from wanting to roam around.
Obviously will have to work in airplane mode and I don't want to annoy our neighbors with anything too noisy

Any advice on flying with an 13month old is greatly appreciated too

Thank you,

LChoy

There are literally thousands of them. Find something he likes (Dora, paw patrol. Etc...) and download some apps related to those.

I must have downloaded 40 apps for my daughter when we went to palm springs.

Maybe download some movies or TV shows too. My kid loves anything with lots of music

The biggest issue I found with my little one was the volume wasn't loud enough whilst in flight, and he wasn't a fan of baby headphones (which also had a built in sound limit to prevent him from hearing much).

Babyphone was a good app for him, Fisher Price and saseme street have great ones. I'd suggest paying for ad free as little ones tend to constantly hit the ad banner at the top or bottom.

That's a highly niche market. I mean, how many airlines would hire a baby, even if a baby wanted to work on an airplane?

My parents used to use an app on us called Gravol. It worked so well I barely even remember being on a plane.

I don't think babies should be working on airplanes.

My kids loved the little tykes games when they were 1.5-2yrs old. Sego makes lots of other great kids apps as well.

I thought that it said "apps for babes that'll work on planes" theoretically in an effort to join the mile high club; was going to suggest tinder maybe but that would be too small a sample size.

Thanks everyone for the advice.
He ended up not being too interested in my phone. Most of the time I kept him entertained with his books and feeding him. He did not sleep at all though so there was some crying throughout
Hopefully he'll be a better flyer when he gets older

Thank you Verda as well, the baby phone app held his attention for a little bit
